Ambedkar Educational Trust, which was established in 1994, the college aims to foster excellence in the field of engineering. The Trust initially began its educational venture with Ranippettai Institute of Technology, offering diploma courses in engineering. Building on this success, the Trust established Ranippettai Engineering College to offer Bachelor's degree courses in engineering, with a vision to promote academic rigor and practical learning.
